The PD365 is a two way radio available from Hytera. A pocket sized radio, the Hytera PD365 has many sought after features but placed into a smaller body. Ideal for use in a variety of working environments, the Hytera PD365 can be used discreetly due to its size in workplaces where necessary such as retail, hospitality and education. Another quirky feature alongside its size is its ability to wirelessly charge, a function that hasn’t been implemented in any other radio simply place the Hytera PD365 on to the POA113 and the radio will begin charging.

There are many internal features that help with usability for the operator. Quick text messaging is a possibility allowing for any users to send pre-programmed texts to a colleague, some common messages that we program into these radios include “Job Complete” or “Arrived at Location”. One of the programmable buttons on the Hytera PD365 can be programmed to be an emergency button, when pressed this will send an alert of the highest priority to a base station (If You Have One) or to other radios that are programmed to the same frequencies. Priority Interrupt is another feature that can be used in emergency situations, this allows for any ongoing transmissions to be cut short and an urgent message be relayed to everyone at the same time, this allowing for fast evacuation or organisation in a time where required.

The Hytera PD365 has the ability to transmit using voice activation (VOX) when using compatible accessories, this means in instances where use of the hands isn’t possible the user is still able to relay information to colleagues. Channel scanning is also a possibility to ensure that no messages are missed. With one of the available channels programmed to perform this action, when the channel is selected it will continuously skip through channels on the lookout for ongoing transmissions until one is found. The radio has a scrambler and basic digital encryption meaning that there is no risk of eavesdropping on conversations, this ideal for environments where sensitive information is being shared between workers.

Programming and Pre-programmed Frequencies

The Hytera PD365 is only available in UHF. 

When purchased from Paramount, The Hytera PD365 can be supplied and programmed on the three published frequencies: 449.3125, 449.4000 & 449.4750 Mhz. This allows you to purchase a Simple UK licence and ensure that the Hytera PD365 will work out of the box.

If you hold, or are purchasing, a Simple Site, Technically Assigned or any other licence, we will program the radio to your assigned frequencies.
