The RD625 is a digital repeater from Hytera. An entry tier repeater, the RD625 is compact in size meaning it is ideal for quick installation and programming. With the ability to be wall mounted, it is designed specifically to provide reliable radio coverage in buildings and large sites, operating in both analogue and digital mode in order to improve the range of your communications.

Mixed mode operation allows for the Hytera RD625 repeater to automatically detect the signal it is receiving, switching between both analogue and digital automatically. Alongside the mixed mode operation, a priority scan function will switch transmission in order to receive and deliver a priority call, as well as a 40-bit enhanced encryption as standard on latest firmware ensuring that transmissions between users are always secure.

The Hytera RD625 repeater is built to IP54 standard which means it has a limited ingres protection against dust, whilst also being safeguarded against splashes of water from all angles. Flexible networking means that the Hytera RD625 can be connected to an IP-based communication network, thus allowing radios across numerous service locations to communicate across both voice and data services.

Multi Sites via IP: Network connection via the IP port allows the creation of a wide-area private radio network for voice and data communication.
Analogue / Digital Back-to-Back Interconnect: Analogue / digital operation enables analogue users to communicate to digital users and vice versa. This feature is particularly important for a smooth migration from analogue to digital world.
Digital Audio Streaming of Dual Time Slots: Streaming of 2 voice slots is possible with the Hytera RD625 via the rear port accessory pins, allowing for capability expansion via future development.
Multi CTCSS/CDCSS Decode: The Hytera RD625 supports decoding up to a maximum of 16 CDCSS/CTCSS codes in analogue channels, allowing coverage for different analogue voice users from different groups.
Analogue / Digital Telephone Interconnect: This feature allows a radio user to make a telephone call; or a telephone user to make either a group or private call to radio users.
AC/DC Auto Switch: The Hytera RD625 integrates an internal power supply that supports a battery floating charge. The power supports 13.6V±15% DC and 90V-264V AC. If the AC power is cut off, the DC power (battery) automatically takes over without interruption.

Analogue / Digital Auto Switch: Analogue and digital channel auto switching allows for efficient frequency sharing between Analogue and Digital users and an easy digital migration.
