This radio operates in both analogue and digital modes within any existing radio system. Also, portables operate in direct mode enabling two communication paths without the need for a repeater. Additionally, the radio offers impressive ‘radio call quality’. Using the eVerge™ digital feature and AMBE+2™ coder, the radio eliminates noise and static from voice transmit to deliver messages crisply and clearly. Whilst in hazardous environments, EVX-S24 also maintains connection as it meets IP57 standards for dust and water.
Moreover, the device has extensive battery life with the digital mode allowing up to 40% longer life than when in analogue mode.
