Hytera MD785i Digital Licenced Mobile Two Way Radio
Versatile Digital Mobile Two-Way Radio
The MD785i is a digital mobile radio from Hytera. Built to high standards the MD785i is IP54 Ingres Protected meaning that it has a limited protection against dust, whilst also being safeguarded against splashes of water from all angles. An ideal radio for multiple environments, the Hytera MD785i wouldn’t look out of place in an office environment or installed into a vehicle, this radio offers high quality professional communications in the form of a mobile unit.
An amass of features are readily programmed to the Hytera MD785i, with a GPS version of the radio also available. Lone worker is present on the standard version ensuring the safety of the operative, this by monitoring the activity levels of the radio, should the radio be inactive for a pre-set period of time a warning is issued that if it ignored an alarm will be triggered. Emergency mode allows for an alarm with top priority to be sent to either a base station or other radios within the fleet, this identifying the radio ID of the person issuing the alarm allowing for fast response.
The Hytera MD785i is available for both UHF and VHF frequencies, whilst holding a channel capacity of 1024 across 64 zones. VOX Voice Activation is a possibility with the Hytera MD785i, this allowing for hands free communications should it be needed with the radio. 7 Programmable buttons are present allowing for the customization of the radio to the users needs, making frequently used functions easily accessible when needed.

What Paramount say
"There's a lot of hyperbole in the manufacturer's description above. "Ergonomic design?" - all the manufacturer's claim that with their products. "Increase your management efficiency and enable you to be responsive to emergent situations?" - well any radio made by any manufacturer can do that. This however is a good, reliable, multi-functional digital radio. Whether you have it installed in your vehicle or used as a base for a smaller sized building system, this radio will do the job. It has an excellent LCD display on the front and can work in both analogue or digital mode without you needing to change channel."
