Firstly,Hytera RD985 Digital Mobile Repeater supports both analogue and digital modes, and switches based on the received signal. The RD985 design represents the heart of a multi-site two-way radio network. Therefore, in using up to 50W of power this repeater provides excellent coverage even on the largest of sites. And maximise capacity for twice as many users to use a single channel.

Moreover, the application of Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) technology greatly enhances spectrum efficiency, which allows twice the users compared with that of traditional FDMA which saves equipment and frequency costs.

Furthermore, Hytera RD985 comes with a sleek design, LED indicators and screen on the face of the radio. Along with that, the integrated fan keeps the device cool to ensure consistent performance. And the repeater features a battery backup and integral battery charging optional via the use of the PSU. 

Additionally, the repeater meets IP54 Ingress Protection Rating increasing safety for your users. Plus, the IP Multi Site Connect supports network interconnect so multiple locations features on the same radio system.

Next, the RD985 work mounted on a wall, vehicle, or on a table for easy access thanks to BRK18 wall bracket. And with the N-Type aerial connector repeater also have an internal duplexer when using the optional mounting kit.

Finally, Analogue/Digital Telephone Interconnect (via DTMF Signalling) supports simplex voice communications between radio and telephone users. So it allows a radio user to make different type of telephone calls, Private or Group.
