Powerful Digital Repeater

Firstly, Hytera RD985S Digital Mobile Repeater supports both Simulcast and XPT systems, analogue and digital modes too. Therefore, by using PTT on the optional remote speaker microphone, users nearby can relay messages to other team members. 

Additionally, the mobile repeater offers a IP Multi Site Connect, which is a network interconnection via the IP port. Therefore users have the option to add multiple locations to the same radio system. Thanks to the digital encryption meaning that any transmissions sent are always secure. This requires advanced encryption then this is available via a chargeable licence.

Moreover, the application of Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) technology which greatly enhances spectrum efficiency. Therefore, it allows users twice compared with that of traditional FDMA which saves equipment and frequency costs.

Then, the repeater comes in a light and robust design, standing at 88mm in height, 483mm in width and 366mm in depth whilst weighing 8.5kg. Therefore, it offers multiple installation options either onto a desk or to a wall or into racking via the use of the optional brackets. 

Finally, RD985S repeater supports Analogue and Digital Telephone Interconnect via DTMF Signalling. It represents a simple voice transmission between radio and telephone users. It allows a radio user to make either a Telephone Group or Private call to other radio users.
